Sovereign or Social: The Binary Cancer in the Body
There’s a difference between being sovereign
& being socialized
One is internal
Instinctual
A birthright
The other is learned
Performed
A requirement
From the moment we’re born, the system begins the process of separation
It teaches us to trust social development over sovereign awareness
To seek external validation instead of internal alignment
To focus on how we’re seen
Not how we feel
This is not a harmless shift
This is a theft
& the worst part?
We’ve normalized it
We’ve built entire identities around it
We’ve convinced ourselves it’s just how life works
But it isn’t
It never was
This is disordered thinking
This is spiritual malnutrition
& it’s been running unchecked for centuries
Make no mistake
This is a cancer
Binary thinking is a cancer in the collective mind
It spreads like disease
It grows by division, dissecting into two, anything into easily reproducable phonemes of logical linguistic understanding within its current framework only, violently destroying, oppressing, killing, mutilating & so on, the bodies, minds, & souls of those opposed to it.
Right or wrong
Male or female
Valid or invalid
Desirable or disposable
No &
Ever enough &
It rewrites our inner knowing
It replaces instinct with ideology
It teaches the body to attack itself
Just like a tumor
& it is contagious
We pass it on to each other in words
In rules
In tone policing and peer pressure and identity politics
We reward it
We applaud it
We call it “progress” when it simply wears a newer uniform
But sovereignty sees through all of this
Sovereignty is not rebellion
It’s not political
It’s not an aesthetic
It is the memory of what you were before you were told to be anything else
Sovereignty says
I am not here to perform your categories
I am not here to explain my refusal
I am not here to call cancer a cure just because it grew inside something you called community
And if that truth makes you uncomfortable
That’s not an attack
That’s a signal
If someone tells you they see the cancer
You should listen
Not dismiss them because their insight disrupts your comfort
Not silence them because you’ve made a move within the system that feels freeing
Freedom within a prison is still captivity
Feeling better inside a disordered framework doesn’t make the framework sacred
It just means the cage was redecorated
And we have to stop pretending that’s enough
True sovereignty does not require agreement
It requires integrity
It doesn’t ask
Do they understand me
It asks
Do I recognize myself
If the answer is no
Start over
This binary disease has trained us to doubt what our bodies know
To second-guess our instincts
To override our own boundaries in the name of “inclusion”
But inclusion means nothing if you have to amputate parts of yourself to belong
So this Pride
Let’s get real about the cost of socialization
Let’s name the cancer
Let’s stop feeding it
Let’s stop calling assimilation healing
Let’s stop calling obedience progress
For the ones who feel it in their guts
For the ones who refuse to lie to themselves just to fit in
For the ones who would rather be whole than applauded
Sovereignty is not a style
It’s a reclamation
& it’s spreading too
Sov4Sov
