During pride month, it is especially important to remember, PRIDE is pro bodily automony. The reason why the flag is so diverse now a days (compared to the original rainbow) is because we are all united under the pride of knowing what our body wants to be, not what society demands of us. Historically, any non adept white male body was denied autonomy. It’s taken a lot of fighting to get us to this point

America hasn’t taken one solid step ever towards healing our racist past….because that would mean showing how racist our present is. (& it’s pretty fuckin police state racist)
I will have a new report on the scar on the heart of amerikkka soon. My soul sends me to this places. I am not 100% sure why yet but it is probably because I can bear witness to these atrocities without shrinking, without collapsing, without justidying or defending or over inserting myself.
These are not my pains to profit from.
These are collective trauma America must take responsbility for.
The list is endless, it will remain that way until we stop the program performing the actions that create the list in the first place.

When I was under the age of 10, I had to stand up to my boomer assigned at births racism. I had just met the new neighbors, a black family. The girl and I went to the candy store together, she gave me a stuffed animal gorilla with a little heart on him.
I returned home to be yelled at, admonished, and told the neighborhood was turning ghetto.
Why? I asked the BOOOOOOOOmer
“Because they EAT AT MCDONALDS.”
“WE EAT AT MCDONALDS.” I yelled back

I wouldn’t

Every performance around a black person she did, ever anxious energy she pumped out onto others, her boomer white flight performance didn’t fool me
White flight is real
Their fears unrealized
yet still materialized
into a relentless hatred
that persists

It’s not much, but I’m going to continue to bear witness to the crimes of my people, to share what I find, and to let the world know we can change at any time, all we have to do is start.
